Jaan Sepping is the CEO and Founder of the European carbon company Ecobase.earth (project spruce OÜ), company specialized on the development and management of forestry carbon projects. With a background in economy and finances, Jaan begun his endeavour on the carbon forestry when founding Ecobase in 2021. With the primarly goal of opening the carbon markets to the European forestry - market traditionaly closed to Europe's forests - Jaan and his team have developed 2, Verra-certified, pioneer carbon projects focused on the establishment of new forests as well as the implementation of forest management practices that extend the rotation of commercial plantations.
