Founder & CEO of Raw Carbon, developing scalable biochar carbon removal infrastructure in South Africa with ambitions to expand across Africa. We are building projects that convert sustainably sourced forestry and industrial biomass residues into durable carbon removal, biochar and recovered energy. Our focus is on combining commercially viable infrastructure with rigorous dMRV, traceability and measurable local impact. I come from a timber and biomass trading background, giving me a practical understanding of forestry supply chains, feedstock sourcing and the realities of moving biomass at scale. Currently developing Raw Carbon’s first project in Richards Bay, South Africa, and looking to connect with carbon removal buyers, investors, project developers and technology partners.
