About Carbon Unbound
We're a passionate team of events and intelligence professionals bringing together the founders, investors, and policymakers scaling carbon removal. We skip the grand statements about saving the planet - instead, we obsess over convening and informing the people putting words into action.

Leading with Empathy
We choreograph, organise, and curate through the lens of empathy. Inclusion isn’t an initiative, it’s our foundational strategy.

Evidence-Based Curiosity
Gut instinct is not a strategy. We lead with curiosity, validate with data, and remain endlessly willing to get it wrong in pursuit of getting it right. For us, mistakes are embraced as feedback, pressure sharpens our purpose, and continuous, imperfect iteration always outperforms opinion.

Accountable Growth
We believe in scale, but never at the cost of our health, our ethics, or the planet. We reject performative gestures and grand statements; instead, we measure success by our responsibility to the climate, team and the carbon community.
Our Mission
To facilitate the removal of
10017536
tonnes of carbon from the earth's atmosphere by 2050

Sustainability
Taking account of emissions
Our emissions strategy highlights the key sources of impact and outlines the practical steps we are taking to reduce our footprint and contribute meaningfully to the Net Zero 2030 goal. This represents our effort to quantify emissions with reference to the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard, and we are working towards fuller alignment in future reporting cycles.

Our Climate Strategy
Summits without the footprint
We aim to reduce our summit's carbon footprint and transition steadily towards net zero and ultimately net negative, all while delivering high-quality events for our clients and delegates.
Understanding our emissions
We are improving how we collect and calculate emissions data to make more informed decisions and accurately track progress.
Taking practical action
We are identifying realistic, achievable ways to reduce emissions across event planning, suppliers, venues, and logistics.
Building a clear pathway to Net Zero
Using data-driven insights, we are developing a long-term plan to steadily reduce our environmental impact year by year.

Our Framework
Defining our boundaries
Prepared with reference to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, our reporting focuses strictly on event operational boundaries. This inventory covers travel, event delivery goods, venue energy, catering, and guest accommodation during the summit.
What is included
We account for staff and attendee travel, temporary infrastructure, waste, and event-specific logistics. Because we do not own physical venues or utility contracts, these direct footprints fall under Scope 3 indirect emissions.
Future reporting cycles
This initial phase excludes corporate office operations, day-to-day employee commuting, and broader supply chain impacts. Future reporting will expand to capture our wider digital infrastructure and permanent workspace footprints.

Strategic Commitments
Lower impact summit planning
Sustainability remains central to our summits. We structure our ongoing commitments across six key operational areas to ensure our events align with long-term net-zero targets.
Key action areas
We partner with certified venues that implement waste diversion and energy efficiency, and we serve plant-based menus by default to reduce our food emissions. Our production focuses on reusable signage and digital alternatives to minimise material waste.
Footprint management
Because attendee travel is our largest impact source, we are introducing granular data collection during registration to improve accounting. We continue to separate our internal emission reduction strategies from our transparent funding of external climate initiatives.

Taking responsibility
Through strong partnerships, shared knowledge, and growing momentum, our summits drive positive change. Summits delivered (and we're just getting started)
Is the summit streamed/ available digitally?
We believe nothing can replace the value of in-person meetings and sitting behind a screen for hours on-end hinders creativity and focus. Taking place in the heart of London, we've made the decision to do away with virtual streaming. Get out from behind your desk and come away energised, with the connections and insights you need to take your project to the next level.
Summit audio content is available post-event in our Library and is free for delegate attendees, access can be purchased if you weren't able to make it in person.
What is included in my ticket?
A full two-day, in-person summit pass. Access to our networking app three weeks before and four weeks after the summit. Breakfast, lunch, networking break snacks, and coffee for both days. One hour of networking drinks.
I'm a start-up. Are there special rates?
Start-ups are entitled to a special discount if you meet certain critera. Please get in contact with delegates@unboundsummits.com and share your number of employees, series of funding and company focus.
What is your refund policy?
Up to 30 days before the event date you can cancel and request a refund, there will be a 15% cancellation fee. After this point, we unfortunately are unable to provide a refund. You can however transfer your pass to a colleague anytime.
Do you have an event app, and am I able to book 1-1 meetings?
Yes! Meetings and networking is at the core of our summits. As an attendee, you will receive information about how to join our event app three weeks before the summit. On there, you will be able to connect with other attendees and set up meetings onsite.
