Spiritus signs Joint Development Agreement with Aramco's Research & Development Center to advance DAC technology
This follows their 2024 memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aramco, where they also recieved an equity investment from Aramco Ventures.
EU Commission adopts certification methodologies for carbon farming under the CRCF Regulation
The European Commission adopted three carbon farming certification methodologies under the CRCF Regulation, covering agriculture and agroforestry on mineral soils, rewetting and restoration of peatlands, and afforestation. The methodologies were developed following a public consultation and discussions with the Expert Group on Carbon Removals.
This week Cool Effect sent a combined $3,190,798 directly to 6 carbon projects.
The payment reflects strategic support for a carbon removal portfolio built around three pillars believed to deliver the most direct atmospheric benefit: reducing superpollutants, protecting nature as essential climate infrastructure, and scaling investment in engineered carbon dioxide removal (CDR).
A Healthier Earth, along with Mangrove Systems, Launch The World’s First Integrated CDR Platform From The Data Center Sector
A Healthier Earth (AHE), the climate tech-focused R&D subsidiary of Pure Data Centres Group (Pure DC), has teamed up with Mangrove Systems to launch the world's first integrated carbon dioxide removal (CDR) platform from the data center sector - marking a major milestone for carbon removal innovation and sustainable data center infrastructure.

Midway through the year Frontier portfolio has removed 30,600 tons - already more than all of last year
Deliveries to Frontier buyers have doubled every year since 2024 and Hannah Bebbington Valori, Head of Frontier, reports they expect total deliveries this year to exceed 50,000 tons. Deliveries this half came from 11 companies: Alt Carbon, CarbonRun, Charm Industrial, CREW Carbon, Graphyte, InPlanet, Lithos Carbon, NULIFE GreenTech, Planetary, Terradot, and Vaulted Deep.
